Ancient Buddha statues shine under modern lights at night

The Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site located in Luoyang City, central China’s Henan Province, has opened for night tours, allowing visitors to see the ancient Buddha statues gleam under modern lights.

The site is home to 2,300 grottoes with 110,000 Buddhist statues and images, over 80 dagobas and 2,800 inscribed tablets created between the Northern Wei (386-534) and Song (960-1279) dynasties.
